Right by Fallen Leaf Lake there's this view of the path that I often stop at. I love how the path bends just slightly and how the shadows fall across the trail. As I was trying to come up with titles for these paintings I was listening to Valerie June's new album. She has a song titled "Trust the Path" and immediately I thought of this painting and knew this was the perfect name.
