Spring is one of my favorite times to walk at Fallen Leaf park, which is located right across from where I teach elementary art. After being surrounded by the energy of children, I love the solitude and quietness of the woods, so I often walk these trails after teaching. This painting is inspired by one of thousands of photos I've taken there. I love when the leaves just start to pop in early April and the woods are saturated in spring greens.
